Experience Glasgow is the new umbrella organisation for the tourism sector in Glasgow. The aim is to create a strong tourism community that works together to deliver sustainable growth for your business, a great experience for the visitor and economic benefits for the city and Scotland as a whole.
The key areas of focus:
Keeping businesses up-to-date with the latest news, opportunities, visitor intelligence and insights into new developments in the city.
Delivering a range of events, from business briefings to hands-on training in new technology, online booking challenges, product development, travel trade, content creation and innovation workshops.
Experience Glasgow offers a comprehensive online training tool your staff can access at any time. It is a simple, fast and cost-effective module designed to give customer-facing staff an overview of Glasgow’s visitor experience. It is engaging and interactive, with images, videos and mini-quizzes which helps staff improve their knowledge of the city.
Creating opportunities for businesses to get together through the Experience Glasgow Champions Events, keep up-to-date with the latest news, share best practice, challenges, hot topics and develop collaborative experiences with the support of the Collaboration Fund.
