The Events Industry Support Fund provides financial help for businesses in the events industry who have been ineligible for the various funding packages announced by the Scottish Government following the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).
Who’s the fund for?
The £6 million fund will be administered via VisitScotland and has been developed in consultation with the Event Industry Advisory Group (EIAG)
The fund is open to businesses in the events industry, and particularly those in the supply chain, that can demonstrate events in Scotland are their primary source of income and have not received funding from any other Scottish Government sponsored COVID scheme.
To be eligible for support you must meet the eligibility criteria and provide supporting documentation.
Successful applicants will be eligible to receive a one-off grant of £10,000.
Application preparation
Review the full application guidance and eligibility criteria to establish whether your business is eligible for support.
As part of the guidance, we’ve detailed the information that will be required as part of the application so that you have time to prepare in advance of the applications going live. As funds will be allocated on a first come first served basis, we recommend you read the guidelines thoroughly in order that you have all the required evidence to complete the online application.
Once submitted applicants will receive an automatic reply from VisitScotland advising that your application has been received.
