COVID-19 recovery webinars for Glasgow businesses | helping you prepare to reopen
Visit Scotland are hosting a series of webinars over the coming weeks, tailored to businesses across Glasgow and the surrounding area, delivered in partnership with Glasgow Life. The programme will help support reopening and recovery from the current coronavirus pandemic as lockdown restrictions are eased.
The series of four webinars begins on Wednesday 24 June and will cover a range of topics from how tourism businesses can adapt and exploit marketing and social media in a time of crisis, to understanding the concerns and demands of returning visitors, and sharing practical examples of how to address the challenges of reopening. This webinar series forms part of their Moment for Change programme of industry and community engagement activities, which includes webinars and Q&A sessions, to support businesses to develop their own strategies to rebuild and recover.

Most tourism businesses should prepare to reopen from Wednesday 15 July, depending on the science, with some outdoor operations before then. How you prepare is crucially important. Visit Scotland has created a one-stop-shop, Get Tourism Ready, to help you find out best practice in your sector. This includes a Scottish Government checklist and sector guidance which we’ll continue to update as more information becomes available.
