Glasgow’s St. Enoch Centre has announced it is set to re-open on Monday 13 th July 2020.
The leading Glasgow shopping centre is following guidance from the Scottish Government, and implementing a range of measures for staff and customer safety, as stores including Hamleys, Game and The Body Shop begin to open their doors to customers once again.
They’ve created a video to reassure they’re guests ahead of their visit and to introduce some of the safety measures they’ve put in place.
The centre and car park will open normal hours, however stores may trade restricted hours to start with. Customers should check times with individual stores.
The Atrium Food Court is due to re-open on Wednesday 15 th July in line with regulations for food operations.
As essential retailers, both Boots and Tesco remained opened throughout to ensure the local community had continued access to these vital services.
Retailers with an outdoor entrance including Debenhams, Topshop, JD Sports and H&M are already open in line with Scottish Government regulations.
Anne Ledgerwood, general manager of St. Enoch Centre, said: “Our team has been working hard to prepare the centre for re-opening and our number one priority is the safety of our shoppers, retailers and staff.
“We are closely following the guidance from the Scottish Government and are implementing a range of measures to ensure public safety including enhanced cleaning with specialist products, social distancing measure and restrictions on the number of shoppers.
“Individual retailers will also be taking steps to keep shoppers safe and we would urge everyone to play their part and follow these guidelines.”
